Gavin entered the all star house with a reputation as a challenge beast, Gavin went no-holds-bars and won the first HOH of the summer. He was quick to form deals and make alliances with his housemates. However, he was dethroned by the battle of the block twist. Because of his consistent challenge wins in season 4.5 and his perception of being a jury threat, David backdoored him week 1. He was evicted by a 9-6 vote.
